it's fall

so for the first time i smelled fall. this morning i was walking to my house after parking my car and was walking and noticed for the first time the leaves changing and fall and smelled fall. i have to admit, as much as i do not like fall because it means winter is coming, it is very beautiful out. two weekends ago i went on the fall retreat. last weekend i chilled in champaign. i've been adventurous lately, trying to find the beauty here in central illinois, and i have. i've explored while running, and have found little lakes and trails. it's weird that it's october already. almost midterm time. school isn't too bad. i'm now observing wednesday mornings...it's fun cause i get to dress up like a teacher now! oh...and i realized how much fun it is living in a house with 6 other girls--it's like one big giant sleepover! the only thing that keeps the place not so crazy and fun is the fact that we have to be disciplined in studying. but sometimes we just have fun...like talking for hours last night when we were supposed to go to bed. good times. oh! and i started taking salsa dancing lessons, it's so much fun, and i'm pretty good of a salsa dancer!
