It's been a while

I'm truly sorry that it took me almost two months to write another post. I guess the end of the school year was busy with finals and packing up. Once I moved home I relaxed for two weeks and really didn't have anything to say on my blog, and then when I started work at Argonne National Lab, I got so busy that I did not have time to post anything I wanted to say on my blog. But today I am in between working on projects and my supervisor and managers don't have anything for me to do until it is ready which will be this afternoon. Until then, I'm pretty much free to do what I want. After working at Argonne for 4 weeks I have realized that I was definitely not created to sit in a cubicle working on a computer 8 hours a day, 5 days a week; I guess that's just not how God created me. I loved working in the Dining Hall back at my dorm at U of I, probably because I was moving around, seeing many different people everyday, and I was serving more. It isn't that I don't like my office job, I do; it's interesting. But I know that I want to be a high school math teacher. I want to serve the students and teach.

Another excitement of this summer is becoming an aunt. My nephew, Joshua, was born at the end of May. It is so utterly amazing to be an aunt, the feeling is indescribable. I am so excited to watch him grown to a young boy and to see him change. I will post another blog soon. I guess this is sort of a preview, I'll be writing about the themes and symbolism of the movie "Last of the Mohicans," it will be an interesting post. Until then, enjoy some pictures of my nephew!
