meet my nephew

well, i haven't met him. yet. yup. you heard it right. my nephew. This is the first time I have officially posted this. My brother Jared and his wife Yvonne are expecting their first baby in June and it's a boy! I'm gonna be an AUNT! How incredibly amazing is that. God is truly magnificent. His name is Joshua Jared. I can't help but thing of Joshua from the Bible. Joshua was a leader of the Israelites. Joshua made the sun stand still one day.

Joshua 10:14
The Lord fought for Israel that day. Never before or since has there been a day like that one, when the Lord answered such a request from a human being.

Joshua gave his people courage and hope in the midst of darkness and despair. I know that Joshua Jared is going to be a great leader for God someday.

"But you are to hold fast to the Lord your God, as you have until now. So be very careful to love the Lord your God. Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled, not one has failed." --Joshua (23:8,11,14)
