This is it. This is the last day...or two...of my college life. That means this will be the last post on my blog probably. How sad. I made it through college. I defeated the University of Illinois. I remember being so excited to be done with taking classes....but now, I wish I could press pause. I don't feel ready. I'm going to Colorado this summer to be apart of the GCM Leadership Training Program.....and then I move to Texas to follow where Jesus is leading me. I am so scared. This place, Champaign, has become my home. I guess now is the time for me to grieve what I am losing here, my life in Champaign. But in grieving, I am honoring everything that has happened in my life while being here. I came down here August 2005 an 18 year old young girl...and I leave May 2009 a 21-year old adult. I am a completely different girl from when I came to college and I am sooo thankful for that.

It's been tooo lonnnngggg

It's been very long since I have blogged...what have I been up to? Student teaching! I posted some pictures of my students from my student teaching placement at Urbana Middle School. I am student teaching now at Centennial High School which is providing me with a very different experience! Being at the high school has been very challenging, but definitely a great learning experience. Here are pictures....

She arrived Sunday night on a Greyhound bus, and she's staying until late Thursday morning when her, I, and our friend Christy are all beginning our Trek down to College Station TX. it's been awesome having Karissa here to hang out and catch up. Here are some pictures of what we have been up to!

Trick or Treat!

So this past Monday, I was in the kitchen with Roxanne, my roommate, and I said "we should totally go trick or treating this friday and get white sheets, cut holes in them, and dress up as ghosts!" so we did...it was mainly Roxanne and I trick or treating, but other came along too. We had a blast! I think people really thought we were little kids too!

and yes, we looked ridiculous, and yes, i am wearing a pair of fake nasty teeth
