i'm back

hey y'all.
so i miss a lot of things about Estes Park, Colorado. I love how clean and fresh the air is and how you can smell pine trees. I miss how there was no humidity and for a girl, that means her hair doesn't get puffy or friz up--my hair was beautiful this summer. i miss the mountains, of course, it's difficult to see the beauty in the flatness back here; but i miss having the mountains to climb and have adventures. i miss going on hikes and chilling out in the tundra area of the saddles between mountain peaks. i actually miss my room in howard 211. although it wasn't the prettiest thing or most luxurious--i loved its simplicity! this summer definitely forced me to be simple and i became very cool with living in a messy room :-) my sister-in-law, Anne, told me last night that i should make a point of blogging once a week. and i think that's a wonderful idea. so i am going to make an effort to post a blog here once a week so y'all can know what's going on in my life.
